Goal #2: Blog Dedication

2.   More posting!

Last summer I was on top of everything with my blog, but as all of you may have noticed, my dedication to this blog slowly went downhill as the school year began last September.   Things get crazy, and I'm sorry for any promises I may not have kept throughout the year as far as posting.  I want to shout out a HUGE thanks to all of the followers that stayed with me. Thank you oh, soo much for your patience and understanding!  So, to more inspiration!

Camilla David
I would like to share with you a textile company I stumbled upon that I am very very fond of.  Camilla David Textiles is a small textile business that produces fabrics for home furnishings. I absolutely love the prints, they are so adorable and beautiful! Camilla David's patterns were inspired by her mother's floral arrangements, which were home grown.  Who doesn't love fresh cut flowers? Now these arrangements will last forever through Camilla's inspiring work.

Goal #1: Projects Projects Projects!

1.   More projects outside of projects I'll be doing for assignments.

I'll be taking my advanced classes this year, which allows us to pretty much create whatever we want within our field, and my goal is to do as much as I possibly can!

Speaking of projects, here's a fun DIY project I found via Design Sponge

Oh yes, and as promised, one of my favorite past posts  for today:

Let's Celebrate: 1 Year down, with many more ahead!

As I was browsing through my archives, it just hit me that I have had my blog for one year now! I made my first post on June 1, 2009. I know I exactly have enough posts to make up a full year, but it has survived and I'm going to continue to take you with me on more my life's journeys and share with you the many many inspirations that flow from it.  This next year is going to be one of the most important years of my life; my senior year of college.  My future career will branch from this year, and life as we all know it will begin.  I will be in the real world, an independent, an individual. I will be making my way through many more experiences, journeys, and relationships to come.  I know that I have to trust God, and as my mom says as well, my gut, to continue making my journey a success.  More plans, more goals, more expectations.. bring it on world!

The rest of this week, I will be posting a goal that I plan to achieve throughout the year, along with links to some of my favorite posts that I've made throughout this past "blogging" year. I hope you enjoy!

Is there a turning point for you this year? What are you looking forward to?

Another Day At Anthropologie

I just got back from Memphis with my family and I went shopping for some dressy casual business attire.  I went to Banana Republic, Gap, Macy's, Limited, and of course, my favorite place of all, Anthropologie.  I'm sure you all have seen the June catalog? Gorgeous, as usual.  Here is a dress I got there on sale that I will wear in New York this summer.  I can't believe I leave at the end of this week!
